Report shows 10.7 million borrowers are stuck with mortgages whose property values are less than what the they owe.

By: Julianne Pepitone, CNN Money.com staff reporter
Last Updated: November 24, 2009: 9:59 AM ET

Summary:

The last Tuesday a survey was done, and many of the people with mortgages owe more money that their home is worth. About 10.7 million U.S mortgages are underwater which means to be upside down, without money. The prices of the home are elevating so many of the mortgages are underwater but a positive view of this could be that many mortgages that still have their house can give it and don't need to owe more money to the banks. U.S mortgages are having a lot of economics problems.

Summary of the News:

Iceland one of the poorest countries of the world is on an economic crisis with Mc Donalds. The people on Iceland are having big trouble with the prices of Iceland's Mc Donald. This Tuesday CNN interviewed Magnus Ogmundsson, who is the owner of Iceland Mc Donald and he told CNN that the “krona is very weak so we are receiving euro’s in high price for the imported food” ON 2008 the 95kronas equaled 1 euro, but now the euro price have elevated to 186 krona. Mc Donalds said that it will be prohibited to continue working with Iceland because of financial problems. Ogmundsson says that the price is too expensive so he has no option but to close the three Mc Donald’s, but he will reopen with a new brand called “Metro” that will make the prices more economic and have less imported food. The prices of the Big Mac in Iceland are the most expensive sandwiches in the whole world.
